RETURNED GOODS Requests to return material must be made in writing. Written authorization must be secured from the company in the form of a return material authorization. The RMA number must appear on all packages and bills of lading. All requests for return of goods must be made within 30 days from date of shipment and must show either the distributor's purchase order number or the Wellmade invoice number, date and quantities of items by catalog number and shall be subject to the following conditions: a. Material must be new, currently cataloged and received in good saleable condition.b. Returned material must be shipped freight prepaid. c. Credit will be issued at the prices (billed or published) at the time of shipment or at the time of return, whichever is lower, from which will be deducted, transportation and reconditioning costs and a minimum restocking charge of 25 %. For items received in non-standard packaging, damaged carton or cartons, which have been opened, etc., a restocking charge of 40 % will be assessed. No return material request will be considered for items of less than $ 50.00 total value. d. Wellmade is to be the sole judge as to the saleable condition of all returned material. Credit will be allowed on the basis of salvage value only on any material not judged by Wellmade to be in saleable condition. Wellmade will not be responsible for the processing of any freight claims resulting from returned material being received by Wellmade in a damaged condition. e. Special non-catalog or custom equipment is not subject to return. PRODUCTS RETURNED FOR DEFECTS IN MANUFACTURE WILL BE REPLACED WITHOUT CHARGE. PRODUCTS RETURNED DUE TO WELLMADE ERROR IN SHIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED AT FULL CREDIT AND WITHOUT CHARGES. LABELS AND RATINGFixtures and components are Underwriter's Laboratory approved. INSTALLATION All fixtures must be installed, wired and grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and other applicable codes. Installer will be responsible for adherence to local building code requirements. WARRANTY Providing equipment is PROPERLY INSTALLED and is operated under normal conditions and at proper ballast rating(recessed fixtures should not be covered with insulating material), all metal parts and electrical components (except ballasts, see below) are warranted against mechanical and electrical defects for a period of one year from the date of shipment. Our liability is LIMITED to the replacement of defective materials and DOES NOT INCLUDE any charges for labor, materials, etc., without written authorization from Wellmade before any work is done. Wellmade will not accept any cash reimbursement claim without advance written authorization. BALLAST (WARRANTED BY OTHERS) All ballasts furnished are U.L. approved from recognized manufactures and are guaranteed by the ballast manufacturer providing the luminaires are properly installed and operated under normal conditions and proper primary voltage is supplied. Return defective ballasts to your ballast service center for exchange within the warranty period. Ballast manufacturer liability normally extends to ballast replacement only and does not cover the cost of labor, freight etc.. LAMPINGWhen, as a convenience for the customer, Wellmade factory installs customer's lamps in fixtures, Wellmade will not be responsible for lamp breakage either in shipping or handling. CATALOG ERRORS Every effort is made on the part of Wellmade Products to provide accurate pricing, dimensional and physical description information, etc., in Wellmade literature and price lists. However, as this information is subject to change without notice, Wellmade will not accept the responsibility for loss or damages due to informational errors in our publications.
